About The Event

On Monday, May 3rd at 2pm, we’ll meet at the Library to discuss a short and sweet novel by Japanese author Toshikazu Kawaguchi called “Before the Coffee Gets Cold.”  In this unique story, an urban legend says that within a tiny, secluded café in Tokyo, there is a special seat which allows a person to travel through time—but the traveler’s time is up when their coffee grows cold!  This whimsical story weaves together the lives of a likable cast of characters, and will leave you feeling warm inside, as if you have just sipped from a steaming cup of coffee.

.

Masks are required and social distancing safety measures will be in place for the discussion.  Space is limited so please RSVP to reserve your spot.

.

You can read “Before the Coffee Gets Cold” instantly as an ebook on Hoopla!
