ABOUT ZUMBA:

Zumba® Fitness classes mix low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party. Once the Latin and World rhythms take over, you'll see why Zumba classes are often called exercise in disguise! Zumba classes are a total workout, combining all elements of fitness – cardio, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility, boosted energy and a serious dose of awesome each time you leave class.

Zumba is for everybody and every body! Each Zumba® class is designed to bring people together to sweat it on. Participants can modify the moves to match their fitness level. Required age for participants is 12 and up, recommended for participants to be 16 and up.

Lauren Mendoza has been a licensed Zumba® Fitness Instructor since 2015 and Certified Group Fitness Instructor (CGFI) with the Athletics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) since 2019. Lauren has been teaching Zumba classes weekly since 2015. In March of 2020, Lauren started teaching virtually, which she has been doing for over a year now.

Zumba Fitness is Lauren’s passion, and she aims to spread joy and positivity through her classes. Her goal as an instructor is to give her participants a fantastic workout while still having tons of fun.
