About The Event

The Totowa Public Library is bringing back evening book discussions this October!  We invite you to join us for our first monthly book discussion on Monday, October 24th at 6pm in the Library's new Reading Room.  Our first read, inspired by the upcoming Netflix film slated to be released at the end of this month, will be Blonde, a novel by Joyce Carol Oates which "boldly reimagines the inner, poetic, and spiritual life of Norma Jeane Baker—the child, the woman, the fated celebrity, and idolized blonde the world came to know as Marilyn Monroe."

"Blonde" by Joyce Carol Oates is available to read or stream instantly as an ebook or audiobook on Hoopla.
